Inspections Over Coffee President and Founder, Curtis Kloc (MM2) graduates high school early around Christmas of 1992 and joined the US Navy a few months after turning 17. He gave his oath on February 3rd, 1993. He went to boot camp in Orlando, FL. He was in class of 9307 for the Naval Nuclear Power Program, becoming one of the youngest people to ever graduate the arduous Naval Nuclear program. 

Having finished top half of both academic and prototype schools, he was offered additional training to become an Engineering Laboratory Technician, ELT, where he was responsible for the chemistry of the nuclear plants, the steam generation and auxiliary systems, and responsible for the nuclear plants radiological controls, such as the safe maintenance on radioactive valves and pumps.

His final 3 years were spent working in the dosimetry offices where he worked hand in hand with the medical department to track sailor radiation exposure levels, and worked with the DOD to create safe transport of radioactive materials across public highways.

Curtis Kloc was honorably discharged on October 4th, 2000.
